Exercises — Cavaquinho
Daily drills generated from the DGBD neck — hear each one, then chop it even.
Short, repeatable drills with tab and playback, generated from the Cavaquinho's own DGBD geometry: an evenness drill for the chopping hand, string-crossing accuracy, and a chromatic run for the fretting hand.
A batida exposes unevenness instantly — the same eight slots come around every bar, so a limp down stroke or a late mute repeats right along with it. Play to the click, give every stroke the same weight, and let speed arrive as a by-product of even.
